Office... not the funny one

I've been super busy lately working at the Office. No not the TV show, but my neighbor's appraisal office. I'm doing a lot of paper work, data entry, phone calls, and some of the grunt work but I'm getting paid good money to do it so whatevs. So far this week I've worked about 20 hours plus a full day tomorrow and a half day Friday and plus the 13 hours I'm getting at Jewel. I'm a busy woman. It's weird going from sitting around and doing nothing all day to being super busy. It's been hard on my sleep schedule but I'll get used to it.

So, I've never updated since the gala. It ended up being a total success. I won my Dunder Mifflin signed hat. My dad paid $85 for it... but everything goes to charity so it was totally worth every penny. I will definitely add pictures when I get a chance to upload them. I had a lot of fun working the raffle table with my friends. I want to thank them a lot because it would have been super hard with all of the help I had. Kristi and Angela were great... they stayed with me until 12:30 and then we ended up going to OS and I didn't get home til really late and I was dead at work the next day. But it was all worth it.

I got the Twilight DVD on Saturday morning from Target. It was a 3 disc special edition that contained a digital copy that I put on my ipod. I watched it a couple of times (don't tell anyone) and I got a chance to watch all of the special features. They were pretty cool. I liked some of the deleted scenes and interviews with the author. It was sweet watching how they did some of the scenes like the vampire baseball scene and the end fight scene. The best part had to be listening to Robert Pattenson talk with his English accent. Haha. I'm such a girl.

I cannot wait for Lost later tonight. I will definitely post my crack pot theories that I come up with after watching the episode. I hope they answer some questions including:

- Where is Daniel Farday?

- Where are Rose and Bernard?

- What time period are Sun/Ben/Frank in and why aren't they with the rest of the Losties?
-- My theory is that these characters are already on the island with the Dharma initiative. We already know that Ben is there... but I believe that Sun and Frank are both younger and on the island somewhere... maybe Sun's father is on the island or maybe she is a daughter to the Asian dude that is on all of the Dharma videos??

That is about all for now. Peace Brah.

Bloggiddy Blog Blog

Hey. I thought I would create a blog today. Look at that... I just did.

I just finished watching last nights new episode of The Office (I had work til 11 and had to miss it :/). I thought it was pretty hilarious. One of the funnier episodes from this season. There were many uncomfortable and embarrassing moments from Michael which always create comedy. I was very shocked at the end when Michael told David Wallace that he quit! If Michael truly left the office... it would probably be the worst show on television... so I know something's gotta give in the next couple weeks that would put Michael back as the Regional Manager.

In further news, I am starting a new and possibly awesome part-time job today. I am going to work for a couple hours everyday at my best friend's dad's appraisal office. I'm not really sure what I'm going to be doing yet... but I'm assuming filing and paperwork and nothing too complicated. It's going to be pretty sweet because my best friend Kelly is going to be training me... and once I'm in the swing of things I will be making my own hours so I can still work around my horrible job at Jewel. Also, last night at work, my friend Dave came in and told me that the bank he works at is probably going to be hiring again in the next couple of weeks. I interviewed with them about a month ago and they gave me a lot of false hope (making it sound like I was a shoe in) and then they never even called me to tell me I did/didn't get the job. I found out from Dave the next day... but never got the official call which kind of sucked. I'm definitely not going to get my hopes up this time... but anything is better than Jewel and my super crappy hours that I am getting from there at the moment (cough 6-11pm anyone?).

I am also looking forward to a charity event that I am volunteering at tomorrow. My older sister is on the board for the Treasure Chest Fund Pediatric Oncology Charity. The charity gives toys to children with cancer in IL, IN, and WI. It's a really great cause and a lot of fun to help out at their charity gala tomorrow at Georgio's banquet hall in Tinley Park. I helped at their last gala 2 years ago. I'm going to be helping set up in the morning and then four of my friends and I will be getting all shnazied up and selling raffle tickets at the gala at night. (There is an open bar also!) They have a silent auction featuring many awesome prizes that I would definitely bid on if I wasn't extremely poor. My favorite item is definitely the Dunder Miflin hat signed by the cast of The Office... can anyone say awesome?! I am trying to pump my dad up into bidding on it.. and winning it. I can just picture the hat above our TV in the living room. Definitely a showstopper. (Apparently Steve Carell's sister or wife's sister is on the board of the charity.) There is also a raffle to win a pair of American Airlines tickets to anywhere you chose. That would be pretty amazing. Another (cool?) raffle item is an opportunity to have lunch with Judge Judy in New York. The catch is they don't pay for your flight to NYC, and there is no guarentee that Judge Judy is going to pick up the tab. Haha. All in all, I am excited to help out and have a great time doing so.

That's about it for my first bloggiddy blog blog... I'll be sure to post the outcome of the charity event when I get a chance. ;)

P.S. I can't wait to get the Twilight DVD tomorrow! Such a nerd!
